…went from cellphone via SMS to twitter to tumblr to feedburner to your RSS reader. This is cool because it breaks apart the chain into tiny fragments of value: an SMS to internet gateway; a feed aggregator and micro-blogging site; and a final level of indirection and protocol conversion so I can change the pieces behind it any time I want. God knows how all those people get paid for these micro pieces of value, but fortunately that’s not my problem at the moment.
