Google Reader in minimized mode
I’ve never been a big fan of Google Reader - or really any RSS reader with ugly, cluttered left pane tree views - but today I tripped over Reader again and noticed a “minimized” mode that hides the left pane.
What remains when you remove the tree view is a remarkably clean and easy to read summary of your feeds. Not sure if it’s enough to get me to adopt Reader but it’s a big step forward vs. having to look at that ugly blue left pane all the time.
