Amazon EC2 performance not really so great
My recent evangelism around Amazon’s EC2 is going to be cooling fast … that $70/month/instance really doesn’t buy you what you think you’re getting. The Amazon crew have more or less confirmed our observations, but aren’t saying yet what they propose to do to remedy the situation.
